I launched this Instagram account at the end of my freshman year at James Madison University as a digital diary of my college experience. I wanted something tangible to document my 3.5 years on campus, and this has been such a fun way to do so.
Beyond just a personal record, the account has become a resource for prospective students looking for a real glimpse into life at JMU. When I give campus tours, I always offer this account to students in case they have questions after the tour is over. It's been truly rewarding to connect with future Dukes and give them a friendly face before they even get to campus.
The main purpose for the account was to document my study abroad experience. I was able to share every adventure with long-distance family and friends, and have a digital copy of it all. To the right, you can one of my most recent posts!
